Friends/family/associations/ties to the community: His Father toMonty and Simon, and husband to Heidi. Ex-fiancé to Meredith Gordon and alleged Father to Zach Gordon.Eldest son to Angela and Arthur-a remarkably renowned attorney whom is now deceased. Peter is his charismatic younger brother.
Motivations/general personality: Nathan, is in short a shark of a lawyer with a golden heart. Despite himself, Nathan is a giver, and according to his mother if he isn't careful he'd keep on giving until there is nothing left. He loves his boys and Peter more than humanly possible, and is determined never to let them down despite the consequences. Much like his father-whom he hero worshiped for a large part of his life, Nathan has a burning fire in his belly and is an extremely ambitious and pragmatic. So In whatever choices he makes in life, he aims sky high.

To a certain extent He is selfish, cold and and has a decidedly Anti-Hero streak. But as he strives to be a the man his children see- Nathan shows tendencies of being hardworking, independent, polite, collective, and responsible. Having stayed true to the Petrelli name hes also handsome, charming and for the most part confident. But by being the sort of man that finds it hard to express his feelings, Nathan has always taken refuge in the small part of him that helps ease the heavyweight of the world that's situated on his shoulders- which is something he sometimes considers a weakness, and therefore he refuses to acknowledge it's effect, let alone indulge in it. But since a little boy Nathan found that he 'needs' to be 'free', and this often becomes clear when he is up in the sky- let that be in jets or using his abilities.
